Now that the dust has settled, we would like to thank each and every driver that put on a fantastic show yesterday in all classes! Some fantastic racing, a great debut for the Micro Stock Cars who all seem to really enjoy themselves. Bangers didnt let off all day and some of the Stock Car races were the best we have seen in a long time!
The weather was glorious and warm despite that it was great to see masks/coverings/shields whilst moving around the site. We continue to push and go on about them but you keep wearing them we can keep the racing on.
A big thank you to all the staff for yesterday, some of which had been at the track since 7:30am and didn't leave until gone 8pm. It was a long day, stoppages and drivers needing attention didn't help but drivers safety is paramount!
Sadly again we have to report that toilets had been vandalised throughout the day with full toilet rolls been shoved down the toilets causing them to back up. This is now two meetings in a row this is has happened and simple isn't good enough and our staff shouldn't have to be unblocking toilets through a meeting.
Secondly the litter left around the pits was aweful after yesterdays meeting, the worst for a long time! We need to keep on top of this to prevent complaints from locals. There are enough bins around the site, if they are full let a member of staff know and we can replace the bags in them. Even if you bag your own rubbish up and put it next to the bins that is more helpful to us then just throwing it on the floor. Please, please do your bit to help us!
