At the AGM at the beginning of 2020 it was agreed that we would run the Raceceivers for the upcoming season as a safety precaution for drivers within the Ministox, Senior Minis and Stock Cars.
A number of drivers have already purchased these and currently using them. The club bought a bulk of them in early last year meaning they are ready to be purchased. For those that are unsure on what they are or how they work, they are a one way communication that are designed to relay information to drivers before, during and after a race. They are used for lining drivers up at the start of a race or on a restart, to info drivers of red flags, ensuring drivers stop and not potentially cause damage/injury by not seeing red flags. Also very handy for rolling laps to stop drivers jumping the starts!
The cost for one Raceceiver is £80, which is nothing compared to what they could save you in the long run!
We are giving drivers a couple of meetings notice to get one sorted if you haven’t already. All drivers in the above mentioned classes must have one by the meeting on 11th July.
